How does one best collect and present all those special little sights,
the cultural and historical places, the main attractions,
the forgotten ruins, everyone who looks after our visitors and the non-profit
organizations who work to preserve their local area in Bergslagen?
This was the question we asked ourselves, and the
answer was to do it through a route! That is how “Järnrutten”
(The Iron Route) was born. And here it is.

We tried out The Iron Route during the summer of 2009 4000 unique visitors found us. Now the journey continues. A development of the site is planned with support from Bergslagssatsningen, but will not be visable until 2011.
